There will be a public meeting on Thursday 12th February to discuss what has been happening to the NHS under the Coalition Government and what can be done to save it. It will be held at 7-9 pm in the Medical Lecture Theatre, 7th Floor, Worsley Building, University of Leeds.
The speaker will be John Lister, Information Director of London Health Emergency and a senior lecturer in journalism. He is author of The NHS at 60: For Patients or Profits and co-author of NHS for Sale: Myths, Lies and Deception, which is due to be published in March.
There will also be a Leeds March for the NHS on 28th March 2015. Assemble 11.30 am at Leeds City Art gallery. The march is being organised by Leeds Keep our NHS Public.
