Leeds protest for national day of action against sanctions

As recently reported here, Unite is calling on trade unions, charities and community campaigners up and down the country to take part in a ‘National Day of Action’ on Thursday 19th March with Unite Community Membership, as part of the campaign against the benefit sanctions.

While other branches and regions are planning demonstrations, the Leeds branch will be assembling on 19th March outside the Body Shop in Briggate, Leeds city centre. Please come along with your friends, banners, music, noise and imagination and protest against the cruelty of benefit sanctions.

Leafleting this Tuesday
