Action for Botton

botton

Unite Community has a branch at Botton Village, a community for people with learning disabilities and their co-workers in beautiful North Yorkshire. The trust which oversees the village is trying to demolish their established life-sharing model, and it is a disgrace.

Two residents and two co-workers from Botton came to our Leeds branch meeting on Friday and told us their story.

They are taking legal action as the trust won’t listen and they need lots of money to fight their case. If you or anyone else you know can help, please send them a donation. Legal action is, as you know, very expensive. The Leeds Branch of Unite Community made a donation of £100. Please share this appeal. Thanks.
