The Day of Dance in Saltaire is a great event that takes place twice a year to raise money for Oxfam and Yorkshire CND, amongst other charities.
VENUE: Victoria Hall, Victoria Road, Saltaire, BD18 3JS
A fantastic day of diverse Dance and Music Workshops.
An evening of brilliant Live music.
Try a new dance style or develop your techniques with some of the best specialised dance, singing and music tutors.
All welcome no previous experience required.
A café with hot drinks, snacks, cakes and light lunches will be available throughout the day.
Complimentary therapy taster sessions will also be available

Day of Dance in Saltaire
Daytime workshops, plus evening events – open to all and funding good causes. The Day of Dance raises funds for Oxfam, Campaign against the Arms Trade and Yorkshire CND. All tutors give their time free and everyone enjoys the special welcoming atmosphere. Dance workshops include the ever popular salsa, swing-jive, tango, flamenco, ballroom, nia dance and much more. Recently added workshops include Irish Set Dance, 5 Rhythms, Biodanza, Sacred Circle Dance, Charleston, Broadway Musicals, Swiss Folk Songs (with yodelling!), Molly Dancing and Somatics. You can also sample singing, storytelling, drumming, yoga and hand and head massage. All workshops are suitable for beginners and you don’t need to come with a partner.
